Amantia muscaria, it turns out, is a real, beautiful, and deadly poisonous mushroom. We see it regularly on our walk to school and the market. As they look unreal, I've photographed them with Penelope (#pennyonthemove), a gift from my interns last summer. I will document Penny's other travels in a separate blog.
No goats were harmed in the taking of these photographs.
